Sarah Kalmakoff has postgraduate qualifications in psychology and counselling and is a Registered Clinical Psychologist. She was a member of the New Zealand Psychologists Society’s Review panel and has held a ministerial appointment to the NZ Health Practioner’s Disciplinary Tribunal. She is an IOA/VIOA occupational assessor for ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation). Sarah has a wealth of experience in the provision of counselling, coaching, mentoring and supervisory services. She is currently a Service Manager for the Southern DHB.
James Kalmakoff was a molecular virologist at the University of Otago, Department of Microbiology and Immunology until retiring in 2009. He was Associate Dean, Website & Communications (2000 – 2008) and convenor of the Web Advisory Committee that was responsible for the corporate website of the University of Otago. He was the Director of the Centre for Gene Research (1996 – 2008) — a grassroots organisation of research scientists at the University of Otago.
